What is the Our shout for RSA training program?

This is a NSW Government funded program and they are funding  5000 fee-free Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) courses across NSW for those aged 17 and above. Contact us to sign up today!

Why do an RSA course?

The hospitality industry is rapidly growing in Australia offering a variety of exciting career paths from entry level positions like bartending, waitressing, food preparation and front desk roles to higher skilled jobs like corporate chef, hotel or restaurant manager and sales manager roles.

A career in hospitality offers flexibility, the opportunity to interact with a variety of different people and the opportunity to grow your career as you gain more experience. With such a versatile range of skills developed and used in the hospitality industry make it easy to move between jobs, work internationally and also transfer skills to roles in other industries.

Most entry level positions in the hospitality industry allow you to learn on the job, however gaining a relevant qualification in hospitality is an advantage that will assist you in getting a job in a competitive marketplace and may even assist you to start your career in hospitality at a higher level and an RSA is the first step towards this!

When you successfully achieve this skill set you will receive a Statement of Attainment in SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality. The skill set includes the units listed below:

  • SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol

Eligibility

  • You must be aged 17 and above.
  • You must be an Australian/New Zealand citizen, resident or humanitarian visa holder living or working in NSW.
  • Fee free training is available even if you are already employed.
  • You must not have previously held an RSA competency card that has expired and is currently due for renewal.

Delivery locations

  • Virtually
  • students must be able to class via Zoom.

Certificate II in Hospitality

Frank Crull

Frank joined NCVE International in 2020 as a VET and ESL teacher. He has been working as a trainer and assessor for 15 years, teaching hospitality, business, leadership & management and ESL.

Most of Frank’s industry experience was gained in Germany, England and Australia working in the hotel and entertainment sector, where he had the opportunity to work in various line staff and leadership positions.
