Course code: Statement of Attainment in SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail
This course is for anyone wishing to work in retail settings including specialty retailers, supermarkets, department stores and quick service restaurants.

This short course will give you the competitive edge as you learn to engage with your team and clients in a customer service environment, work safely and organise your work priorities. Graduates will be able to work with some independence and under limited supervision across these areas.

This qualification provides a pathway to work in a variety of roles within speciality retailers, supermarkets or department stores.

For students that successfully complete the short course and show suitable skills, traineeship positions are on offer. This short course is a real opportunity for you to gain employment.

The successful achievement of this skill set will result in a Statement of Attainment in SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail and requires you to complete the units listed below:

  • SIRXCOM001 Communicate in the workplace to support team and customer outcomes;
  • SIRXWHS002 Contribute to workplace health and safety;
  • SIRXIND003 Organise personal work requirements
